The best Shawarma in town from the worst possible location in town. The food absolutely makes up for the people under the stairs making your food ambiance. Falafel is my go to (best in Reno?) but their chicken and lamb are very good too.
Definitely a take out/to go only spot in my opinion as there is just a little shelf by the window to eat otherwise. Plus you are eating in a stairwell.
For to go food they are great. Sometimes it takes forever to get your order so be prepared. Makes calling in that much better so you know how long it will take versus ordering and sitting in the stairway waiting. -

Location: awful. Heavy metal music also awful. Employees dropping f bombs while my son is there unacceptable.
20 minutes for a cold, COLD schwarma a joke. The bread, vegetable, and meat cold. Wtf took 20 minutes.
Customer service non existent. No what can I get, thanks, have a good day, would you like drinks, just a blank empty Homer Simpson stare.
Disappointed because of the reviews. Thought it would be great. It sucked. It shouldn't take this long to make the food. FYI had plenty of schwarma. It's a street side food in many places because it's quick.
Not here, slow crappy cold awful food that is not at all authentic.
Go anywhere else. -

I've eaten at shawarmageddon at least 100 times, hell I have 72 checkins so I guess you could say I'm a regular lol it hurts my heart to write a bad review on a place I loved so much.
I'm not sure what's going on with this place, but the food is awful now, the employees do not care that they are handling food, the wait times are bad, and they can not get my order right for the life of them! It's a pretty simple order, 2 falafel wraps with toum sauce, and a side of harissa...meaning put the harissa on the side!
The last time I was in, a new girl took my order over the phone. When I arrived, I paid and then waited and waited... we waited so long, a friend of hers showed up, and then another friend... and those friends were taken back into the kitchen!! (These people do not work there mind you!) After listening to these girls go on and on about how suicidal they were and all of their weirdo nonsense we finally get our wraps... the falafel was soggy and so so salty! The side of harissa is INSIDE, the bread was crusty and burned. We threw more than half of our wraps away because they were so bad.
The time before that, I ordered over the phone... I come in and pay. I can see two wraps on the counter prep area and I see the guy putting a green sauce on the wrap... toum sauce is not green, and neither is harissa, but surprise surprise those are our wraps! I'm not a fan of their other sauces, but we were starving so we did our best to eat what we could... again soggy falafel! I'm not sure if it's a new recipe, a lack of cooking time, or just poor training but it sucks to pay over $10 per wrap and have it come out wrong and undercooked.
They do not put mint in the wraps as listed on the menu, but when they used to, we loved it. The wraps nowadays barely even have any veggies at all! It's so sad they raised their prices and lowered their food quality. We have crossed this place off our list now. We just cant afford to pay for food we can't eat. -

What a dark-gothic looking Shawarma micro take-out place w/some inside and outside seating.
You get what you pay for. Stuffed shawarma w/cabbage and clover leafs? Lamb were chunked pieces. Things were heavy on the garlic spectrum so make sure everyone takes a bite in your group.
Wish they labeled the type of shawarmas to-go as Mr. Bland found my ultra spicy sauce one and didn't recover after that one bite. -
